Eek, it has been almost two months since I last updated.
How neglectful of me.
See, once in a while life gets on top of me a bit and I go Bear and hibernate while I get my head back together. This means no blogging, no Tweeting, not a whole lot of Facebooking… not a lot of anything remotely social actually. It helps, so I’m planning to stick with it until the end of the year.
Happily though, I have still been writing, along with some other writing-related things that aren’t actually writing. Therefore, there is some new stuff coming up soon.
Konrad’s next adventure is nearing completion. If all goes well, it should be possible to have this out by the end of December, and possibly before.
It will be called Myrrolen’s Ghost Circus.
The Drifting Isles
The book I have been calling Autogyro is now going to be called Black Mercury. The original plan was to get this series of books out in December, but due to some issues with cover art, it’s going to be January/February before everything will be ready to go.
Our new cover artist, by the way, is Elsa Kroese – she of the beautiful Draykon cover art. I’ve already seen a preview for Black Mercury and it is, of course, fabulous. I can’t wait to see the finished cover and share it with you.
More news on that in due course!
Back to hibernation for me. The cave is warm and suitably equipped with tea, cats and chocolate cake, so I expect to be returning to normal in the new year (fingers crossed). In the meantime, happy reading!
